A-Van woodworking has been crafting quality kitchens, libraries and other fine woodworking projects for over 20 years in the Greater New York area. 

A-Van Custom Woodworking crafts fine wood furniture, cabinets and designs custom pieces for special applications. Recent projects range from repair and restoration of family heirlooms to design and installation of commercial environments using exotic woods and marble.

Hrair Baronian, master craftsman, started apprenticing as a furniture and cabinet maker in 1972.  He worked in his Father and Uncle's shop in Eastern Europe at the ripe age of 12.  He quickly learned the artistry of fine cabinet making with strong attention to detail.  Taking an early interest in fine furniture making helped the young Hrair develop his craft and accuracy.  He went on to be involved in historical and church restorations that were reserved for the finest craftsmen.

In 1985, Hrair moved to the United States and setup shop in New Jersey.  His early work was focused on fine restoration projects and designing unique furniture.  As business grew, Hrair returned to his early roots as a fine cabinet maker and developed a repertoire for custom kitchens, fireplace mantles, and home libraries.  Today, A-Van Custom Woodworking is a complete wood craft shop that undertakes projects ranging from custom kitchen design, home libraries, and paneling to fireplaces, custom furniture and restorations.Each piece receives his personal care and attention.
